I'm going to articulate a new skeleton! a thrush (Turdus philomelos):  http://www.summagallicana.it/lessico/t/Turdus%20philomelos.jpg in italian it's called tordo. With a new cleaning method and a lot of patience I managed to obtain his eye-bones (sclerotic rings) and his tongue-bone (entogloss process)! I'd like to articulate it in a pose similar to: http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6074/6059198289_17b53bf9d5_z.jpg but suggestions are welcome! edit n1: these ribs are a pain in the ass to glue! edit n2: ribcage done! (well, now I have to place sternal ribs, the real difficult part! :P ) edit n3: body is ready! next step: wings&legs!

Some of my works will be for sale\trade but honestly I don't have an idea of their value. I'm trying to contact someone more expert than me for some evaluations. Meanwhile I'd like to receive some offers, so I can understand how much people would pay for my works. I build display cases too, for small skeletons. I use glass and tin and results are very vintage (similar to [link] but bigger)! I'll accept also commissions for custom display cases. I'll consider trades too. Thank you!

Some years ago one of my cats bring me a wonderful dead bird as a present. I love when they do so! I recently processed the tiny bird and articulated its skeleton, I'll post pictures soon! I didn't know the species so I thought to write to some hunters\birdwatchers forums for an help. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdnad2QCbk1rqzr04o1_500.jpg But it was such a colorful bird and I thought it'd be easy to find so I decided to try to identify the species without help. Yesterday I did some google and finally I think I identified it! Cyanestes caeruleus, the blue tit!
